How booking works
- Jeep and canter permits are booked on the official Corbett Tiger Reserve website and open up to 45 days in advance.
- Forest rest house night stays for Indian visitors open in monthly blocks, about 45 days ahead, at 10:00 AM. Foreign visitors can book stays 90 days in advance.
- One permit covers a maximum of 6 people. Children below 12 do not need a separate permit, but a canter seat for a child must be bought separately.
- Night stay bookings include two jeep safaris.
- Safari permit and vehicle arrangements depend on availability and applicable booking conditions.
Rules
- Confirmed safari bookings cannot be cancelled, refunded, transferred or changed to another name.
- The group leader must upload a clear photo of the front and back of a valid ID. All members must carry the original ID entered at booking.
- If any foreign national is in the group, the foreign-visitor category applies to the whole permit.
- Bookings in the rainy season can be cancelled at short notice due to weather, without refund.
- Use of mobile phones inside the tourism zones of the core habitat is not permitted.

Corbett gates are spread far apart, so choose a resort on the same side as your safari zone. Dhikala needs a canter or a night stay; resorts listed near Dhela Gate suit Jhirna and Dhela safaris; resorts listed near Bijrani and Garjia gates suit those two zones.
