We are an independent travel agency. We help you compare and reserve jungle lodges, hotels and MP Tourism properties near India's tiger reserves, and coordinate permits and transfers for the same dates.
What our service includes
- Private jungle resorts and lodges — stays near Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Pench, Satpura, Panna, Tadoba, Ranthambore and Jim Corbett.
- MP Tourism (MPSTDC) properties — booking assistance for state-run hotels and resorts. These can also be booked directly by you at mpstdc.com.
- Budget and mid-range hotels — for families and group travellers.
- Safari permit coordination — booked in the guest's own name on the relevant forest department portal, matched to your check-in date.
How we work — and what it costs
- You send us dates, destination and group size. No payment at this stage.
- We reply with availability and a written quote showing the property or permit tariff and our service fee separately.
- You pay only after you accept that written quote.
- We send a written confirmation with the property or permit reference, gate details and the applicable cancellation policy.
- Any booking on this site can also be made directly by you with the property or the forest department. Our fee is for the coordination, not for privileged access.

Who are you, and are you affiliated with any hotel chain or government body?+
TheForestStay.com is an independent travel booking agency operated by ShaktiEvent, based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official representative of any hotel chain, holiday-membership company, state tourism corporation or forest department. We act only as a booking agent for our own clients.
Can I book these stays directly instead of through you?+
Yes, always. MP Tourism properties can be booked directly at mpstdc.com and safari permits directly on the respective forest department portals. Our service is optional paid assistance for travellers who want one point of contact for permits, vehicles and stays.
What exactly do I pay for?+
You pay the property or forest department tariff plus a clearly quoted service fee for our coordination. The full breakdown is shared in writing before you pay anything, and we never ask for payment before you have that written quote.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?+
Each property's own cancellation policy applies and is shared with you before confirmation. Safari permits, once issued by a forest department, are largely non-refundable. Our service fee is refundable in full if we are unable to confirm the booking you asked for.
