Nagzira (Navegaon-Nagzira Tiger Reserve) has three core gates — Chorkhamara, Pitezari and Mangezari — plus spot-booking gates at Bakki, Pitambartola and Umarzari. Nagpur is not the practical base; stay at Sakoli, Gondia or Bhandara.

ID Documents You Must Carry
Safari permits are issued in the name and ID of each traveller by the forest department. Bring the original document — photocopies and photos on a phone are not accepted at the gate.
- Original photo ID for every traveller, including children where applicable
- Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID or Driving License
- The same ID number that was used when the permit was booked
- Full names and ages of all travellers, exactly as on the ID
- Foreign nationals: passport, carried in original
